Geekdom Knows No End

If only 2012 were tomorrow...

Keep yourself up-to-date.

Double Elevation

I will never forget serving at the Holy Mass of the late, great Cardinal Alfons M. Stickler.

This was the occasion of his elevation to the rank of a Cardinal-Priest in his titular church of San Giorgio in Velabro in Rome, which the Holy Father Pope John Paul II raised to the rank of a minor basilica. This church had been closed for restorations when it was damaged by the Italian mafia.

Cardinal Stickler was a great defender and supporter of the Traditional Latin Mass.

is the virtue of a man without convictions." (G.K. Chesterton)

Campo Verano

Some pictures I took during one of my endless visits to this great Roman necropolis.

Yet another pointless blog

The modern age comes with it both blessings and curses. The internet happens to fall under both categories. What a marvelous gift, to be both a blessing and a curse. The internet is a kind of omniscience without reason. We must eat carefully from this tree of knowledge, lest we are the ones who are devoured in the end.
